Claire Hamnett received her undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. She is currently studying for her Ph.D. in Women’s Health Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in their remote program for practicing physical therapists. In addition to earning her PRPC through Herman and Wallace, she is a board-certified Women’s Health clinical specialist and a certified lymphedema therapist.

Claire found her passion for pelvic health physical therapy while working at a pelvic health clinic during college. She was able to see first-hand how life-changing pelvic floor physical therapy can be. After graduating from Columbia, she completed a clinical residency year in pelvic health at Baylor, Scott, and White in Dallas, TX.

With over 10 years of experience in different roles within the Pelvic Floor field, Claire now teaches the Pelvic Elective at Columbia University’s Physical Therapy program all the while building her practice from the roots up!
